Requirements for Membership

MITA membership is open to anyone who

• is interested in English/Japanese translation or interpreting
• is able to regularly attend monthly meetings in Tokyo, Japan
• is willing to actively participate in presentations and discussions

Experience is not required. MITA membership is free of charge.

Members include translators, interpreters, editors, teachers, and physicians from Japan, USA, UK, Australia, and Belgium.
